Won over 7f and 1m in Bahrain for this yard in January. Badly hampered 2f out and better than result when down the field in the Royal Hunt Cup at Ascot recently. Capable of having a say back in slightly calmer waters.
Progressed into smart handicapper in Britain in the second half of 2025. Struggled in the Middle East at the start of this year so needs a return to these shores to help spark a revival.
Enhanced his fine all-weather record when taking listed contest at Southwell (6f) in November. Matched the best of his turf form when fifth in Victoria Cup at Ascot (7f) in May and on the wrong part of the track in the Wokingham there (6f) since.
Useful in Ireland for Ger Lyons but without a win since his debut and weakened quickly to finish well held in the Royal Hunt Cup at Ascot on reappearance for Jamie Osborne. That was a tough starting point for new connections but can still only watch here.
Useful performer in France for Christopher Head. Matched that in 2 outings for David O'Meara over the winter and ran to a similar level on first start for this yard over 1m at Newbury in May, fading as if this drop back to 7f my help.
Much improved when landing back-to-back 7f handicaps last spring and has returned better than ever, building on her reappearance third and looking unlucky not to prevail when beaten a neck on the Rowley Course here (good to firm) 7 weeks ago. Leading claims.
Quirky type who doesn't have a great strike-rate in recent times but has run with credit in competitive handicaps in 3 of his 4 starts this year.
Useful sort who hasn't been seen to best effect on both starts this year. His mark has come down as a result and he's one to consider.
Yet another fine advert for his yard, winning 6 times on all-weather between December and March. Has held his form well from higher marks on turf since, including only narrowly denied at Doncaster (7f, good to firm) 14 days ago. Player with Paetel taking 5 lb off.
Quick to find his feet for Andrew Balding last summer, winning a Newbury maiden (6f) in August. Creditable efforts in defeat in handicaps since but he'll require a career best to get his head back in front here from 3 lb out of the weights.

Forecasts
Royal Zabeel (10/3), Silver Ghost (10/3), Crown Board (5/1), Houquetot (8/1), Akkadian Thunder (8/1), Goldmoyne (10/1), Golden Redemption (10/1), Divine Libra (12/1), No Retreat (14/1), One Smack Mac (125/1)
SILVER GHOST has a good record on both Newmarket courses and is taken to gain compensation for her narrow defeat on the Rowley Mile last time. Goldmoyne was a few places behind the selection on that occasion but was better than ever when edged out at Doncaster recently and is second choice ahead of Divine Libra, who is likely in better heart than this season's form figures might suggest.
