Horizon Group Maiden Hurdle (GBB Race)

Surpassed bumper form when placed in a pair of novice hurdles during the spring. Fair fourth at Kelso since and he's likely to give it another good go.

Useful on the Flat and left his hurdling debut form behind when third at Wetherby in late December. Proved a let-down at Doncaster prior to finishing lame on his handicap debut at Kelso. Back on track when third at Sedgefield and while he won't be matching form on the level, he's respected.

Showed ability in bumpers but has offered nothing over hurdles so far. Drying ground may help but he needs to raise his game significantly.

Long-standing maiden but arrives in top form, sticking to his task when second of 12 over C&D 3 weeks ago. Repeat of that will ensure he's very competitive again.

Fair middle-distance winner on the Flat who shaped nicely under a considerate ride when third of 5 on hurdles debut at Uttoxeter 4 weeks ago, finishing with running left. Sure to build on that.

Fair maiden on the Flat who was too free when sixth of 11 in maiden at Roscommon (10.5f, soft). Off 8 months having left Joseph Patrick O'Brien ahead of this hurdles debut.

Fair form in juvenile company during the spring but proved to be a disappointment when tenth of 14 in novice hurdle at Kilbeggan (2m) 48 days ago. Since left Emmet Mullins for €7000.

Fair bumper winner but nothing to shout about over hurdles so far.

€2,700 3-y-o, Poet's Word filly. Half-sister to fair hurdlers Jubilee Gold and The Blaggard. Showed more than in a bumper a month on when fourth of 17 on hurdles debut despite being less than fluent on occasions. In good hands but that isn't form to be carried away with.
