Fairly useful Flat performer but refused to race on latest start in that sphere and ended up too far out of his ground when respectable sixth of 12 in handicap hurdle at this course (17f, good to soft, 12/1) 20 days ago. Comes with some risks attached.
Back from 7 months off when good second of 10 in handicap hurdle at Worcester (2m, good to soft) 12 days ago. Entitled to build on that and must enter calculations.
Finished runner-up in a pair of novice handicaps here this time last year but ended the summer on a low note on the Flat and has a bit to prove reverting to hurdles after 10 months off.
Found improvement when third on handicap hurdle debut at Plumpton (2m) in April. Not at same level at Fontwell since but may get back on the up having joined Nick Schofield since. Cheekpieces on for first time over jumps.
Achieved little in maiden hurdles last year and similar story on debut for new yard here 11 days ago.
Off the mark at sixth attempt when taking 9-runner handicap hurdle over C&D (good) 27 days ago by ½ length from Saucats. 5 lb higher now but yard continues in fine form.
Runner-up on second of his 3 bumper starts and posted best effort in this sphere when third of 12 in handicap hurdle at this course (17f, good to soft) 20 days ago. Claims if building on that.
Still looking for first win and arrives on back of poor effort at Worcester 26 days ago.
Remains a maiden after 16 NH runs but has run creditably in recent starts, latest when fifth of 12 in handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter (2½m, good to soft) 10 days ago. Each-way claims.
Fairly-useful maiden at best on the Flat (stays 1¾m) for Andrew Balding but lost his way in that sphere at the end of last summer and efforts over hurdles to date have not been at all promising. Cheekpieces on first time over jumps. Makes handicap hurdle debut.
