Not always the easiest ride (can take strong hold/hang left) but he eked out a bit more improvement when doubling his tally in a 10-runner handicap at Windsor (1¼m, good to firm) 19 days ago. 6 lb rise looks manageable and he remains unexposed at this trip.

Camelot filly who showed fair form when second on 11f Kempton debut in January but folded tamely at Southwell (11f again) the following month and was beaten a long way after 10 weeks off in a Chester maiden last month. Leap of faith required now handicapping.
|
Made a winning start in a 1m Kempton maiden in August but not in same form when only seventh of 13 in a novice there 2 months later. Struggled making her handicap debut at Salisbury (1¼m, good to soft) 28 days ago and she likely needs her mark to ease further.
|
No better than modest form across 3 qualifying runs this spring but handicaps have surely always been in mind, not given a hard time as he passed beaten rivals when eighth of 11 in novice at this course (8.3f, good to soft) 32 days ago. Return to this trip will suit with cheekpieces now applied.
|
Green but showed ability in a Chelmsford novice on debut last November but not disgraced despite finishing last of 6 in a strong maiden at Leicester on return. Below expectations when filling the same position in a 12-runner novice there (1¼m, firm) 26 days ago. Should still progress in handicaps.

Forecasts
Kalokalo (4/5), Astracornus (5/2), Miss Pretty (10/1), Mr Bollinger (11/1), Distorted Truth (16/1)
KALOKALO wasn't the most professional when scoring at Windsor earlier this month but he's done well since being upped to this trip and has the ability to defy this 6 lb higher mark. Handicap newcomers Astracornus and Mr Bollinger both rate as potential improvers now stepping into this company.
- Kalokalo4/5
- Astracornus5/2
