Yet another fine advert for his yard, gaining a sixth win of the all-weather season at Lingfield in March. Has held his form well from higher marks on turf since, running up to his best when fourth of 11 in handicap (4/1) at Beverley (7.4f, good to firm) 3 weeks ago. Solid place claims again.

Won twice over 7f last summer in positive campaign and picked up where he left off after a 5-month break when a neck second over that same trip at Newcastle in March. Again beaten only narrowly when third at Musselburgh last time and he's shortlisted after a yard switch (left Stephen Hanlon).
Kick-started 2026 with victory at Southwell (1m) in January and returned to form having edged back to that mark when second of 8 in handicap at Goodwood (1m, heavy) 8 days ago. Still on a handy mark, though conditions here are contrasting.
A dual winner last year, he again ran well on seasonal reappearance when third in a soundly-run handicap at Ascot (6f) early in May. Didn't offer much off the bridle when tenth of 14 at Goodwood (7f) 2 weeks later, though, so needs to bounce back from that lesser effort.
Hold-up sort needs plenty to drop right but he found things panning out favourably and was right back to his best when winning a 14-runner handicap (10/1) at Wetherby (7f, firm) 16 days ago, travelling fluently to score with a bit in hand. Not certain to replicate that here but 5 lb is fair enough.
Took advantage of his easing mark when scoring at Newcastle (7f) in December, his fifth course success. Held form well enough without scoring on all-weather after but struggled returned to turf in a stronger 18-runner race at York last month. Others make more appeal.
Quirky sort has fallen a long way in the weights and he could barely have been any more eye-catching when runner-up in a 22-runner York handicap last month. Very disappointing there next time out but was better when sixth of 20 there (7f) last week. Does need plenty to drop right for him, though.
Landed a double in 7f handicaps at Catterick in October and as good as ever when close third at Newcastle and Thirsk on first 2 starts last season. Left on the back foot after anticipating the start at the last-named track last month and he's worth treating as if still in form.
Ran well several times in good handicaps last year and stepped up on an underwhelming comeback run when sixth of 11 in handicap at Beverley (7.4f, good to firm, 9/2) 21 days ago. Effort seemed to peter out late there, though, and he might be of more interest back at sprint trips.
Won a Redcar maiden and Newcastle novice from 4 starts last season but down the field in a handicap on final start in 2025 and it was a similar story on recent return at C&D.
Recorded three wins at Newcastle last year, the latest in December. Consistent in defeat subsequently on all-weather but only sixteenth of 20 in handicap (33/1) back on turf at York (7f, good) 8 days ago. Others more persuasive.

Forecasts
Leadman (7/2), Talis Evolvere (4/1), Walson's Law (6/1), Obelix (13/2), Goldmoyne (7/1), Eldrickjones (8/1), Diligent Resdev (12/1), Monsieur Bondy (14/1), Master Richard (16/1), Mudamer (16/1), The Green Man (33/1)
It might pay to focus on those at the head of the weights, with MASTER RICHARD getting the verdict on the back of 2 narrow defeats this season. Goldmoyne also arrives after in the midst of a good spell and will be in the mix again, with Talis Evolvere completing the shortlist.
