Nala The Lioness^t¹¹

Age: 6| Weight: 10-0| J: P Mulrennan| T: D Killahena & G McPherson| OR: 52

11/4

Modest maiden for Karl Burke. Missed the bulk of 2025 and having made a very low-key start on the all-weather for this yard, a breathing operation did the trick when successful at Windsor 11 days ago. Kept to classified company and she should be a factor again.

Another Beautiful^t,v1¹⁰¹

Form: 350/9-87

(2)

Desert Quest¹⁷

Age: 8| Weight: 9-9| J: Aiden Brookes| T: Ewan Whillans| OR: 48| CD

Form: 23/9544

(8)

Falaise Blanc^v1¹⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 9-9| J: Ryan Sexton| T: K Scott| OR: 47

9/1

Just the one win to his name but retuned to form out of the blue when very good second of 11 in handicap at Hamilton (1½m, good) 15 days ago, clear of rest. Visor replaces cheekpieces and task is to back that up.

Form: 7-00682

(4)

Freak Encounter^t¹³

(3)

Is She Now⁴⁶

(5)

Tracker Issue^b²⁰

Age: 4| Weight: 9-9| J: A Mullen| T: A Nicol| OR: 50

Form: 020-004

(9)

Star Of Emerald^v1²⁰

Age: 3| Weight: 8-8| J: Cam Hardie| T: E Bethell| OR: 50

17/2

Still looks a work-in-progress, gelded ahead of handicap debut when fourth of 7 at Catterick (1½m, good to firm) 20 days ago, slowly away. Visor may sharpen him up and worth another chance at this level upped further in trip.

Forecasts

Nala The Lioness (11/4), Is She Now (10/3), Desert Quest (7/2), Late Claim (13/2), Star Of Emerald (17/2), Falaise Blanc (9/1), Tracker Issue (18/1), Another Beautiful (20/1), Freak Encounter (100/1)

STAR OF EMERALD is a stable lesser light but he receives bundles of weight at this lowly level so he's worth chancing with a visor likely to help him. Nala The Lioness and Desert Quest head the opposition.
