Has made a solid start for new yard, pulling clear of the rest when 1¼ lengths second of 9 to Rock Opera in 6f handicap at Pontefract last time. Back up to 7f with cheekpieces back on.

Won over 5f at Sandown and 6f at Nottingham last year. Yet to find top form this season and, while he's dropped below his last winning mark as a result, it's been well over 3 years since he last tackled 7 furlongs.
Confirmed promise of stable debut when winning 6-runner handicap at Yarmouth in April. Possibly found race coming too soon when turned out under a penalty 10 days later but freshened up since and remains fairly treated on old form.
Won 7f handicap at Redcar last November and made an encouraging return from 7-month absence when 2¾ lengths second of 10 in 6f event at Ripon 11 days ago. Back up to 7f and remains unexposed, this only his fourth handicap.
Has been given a chance by the handicapper after a subdued start to 2026, but never looked like justifying solid support when down the field at Yarmouth last time. First-time tongue tie applied in bid to spark a revival.
Produced best effort for current connections when ¾-length third of 10 at Carlisle last month. Obvious claims if building on that performance.
Dual 7f winner on turf last August who has been below his best on both outings this year, though did meet some trouble when only mid-field at York last time. Has won at this course in the past and no surprise to see a better showing with usual blinkers refitted.
Recorded a fifth course win at Newcastle in 8-runner 7f handicap last month, but was below form back on turf last time, acknowledging he enjoyed a far from clear passage. Needs to bounce back.
Won first 2 starts this year, namely at Southwell and at this course in April. Ran well when 3½ lengths second of 7 to Cherry Cobbler at Newmarket (Rowley) last time. Seems sure to make another bold bid.
Runner-up twice in ordinary 7f maiden contests last summer, but looked very rusty when last of 13 in handicap at Newmarket on return from 9 months off last time. She'll need to have come on plenty for that.
Won over 7f at Thirsk last summer for David & Nicola Barron but below par since, including in 4 runs for current yard this season. Cheekpieces back on.

Wrydcroft (9/4), Alpha Capture (4/1), Magic Boy (4/1), Beale Street (17/2), Green Pursuit (17/2), Mister Mojito (10/1), Caragio (11/1), Highfield Viking (11/1), Tennessee Gold (12/1), The Childe Of Hale (20/1), Jenever (25/1), Tardaff (40/1), Mereside Madness (100/1)
MAGIC BOY showed plenty of dash when narrowly denied on his return and looks capable of going one better back at 7f. Wrydcroft, returning to the scene of his C&D success in April, and Green Pursuit top the list of potential dangers.
