Jim Ryan Memorial Novice Chase

Belatedly matched his fairly useful hurdling form over fences when opening his chase account at Down Royal. Not in the same form when hampered/never involved at Punchestown subsequently, but this is less competitive, and he's worth another go over this sort of trip.

Useful winner of a maiden chase at Wexford (25f), he didn't look out of place off his opening mark when unseating through no fault of his own in a listed event on handicap debut at this course and should take all the beating here.

Prolific novice hurdler who got off the mark at the second attempt over fences at Tramore, despite finding 2m barely enough of a test. She's open to improvement over this significantly longer trip, and her likeable attitude could stand her in good stead if this turns into a tactical affair.
