Fairly useful 1m winner on Flat for William Haggas and has shown aptitude for hurdling in 2 runs this spring (not knocked about behind Whats New at Killarney latest). One to consider.
Modest Flat winner (well backed but well held again at Cork last time). Work to do on hurdles debut.
Unreliable sort (has ran out) but he's finished in the frame on his last 2 starts over hurdles in 17f maidens and is a big player in this company.
Fair up to 1m on the Flat and not always the stoutest of finishers, didn't get home on first try at hurdling at Sligo (2¼m, 22/1) last month.
Fair maiden on the Flat. Has shown little over hurdles for this yard. Tongue tie now tried.
Old Persian gelding. Dam, ran once in bumper, sister to useful hurdler/chaser (stayed 21f) Euxton Lane.
Failed to complete in points and well held in Cork/Ballinrobe maiden hurdles.
Bathyrhon gelding out of an unraced half-sister to winning jumpers in France. Pulled up sole start in points (May 9).
Little impact in 2 maidens this spring.
€2,000 3-y-o, Court Cave gelding. Dam, ran once over hurdles/once in bumper, sister to fairly useful hurdler (stayed 2¾m) Sam's Choice.
Berkshire gelding. Dam unraced sister to useful hurdler/smart chaser (winner up to 3¼m) Adamantly Chosen and fairly useful hurdle winner/useful chaser (stayed 31f) Uncle Pat. Appealing sort starting out in a very winnable maiden hurdle.
Fair maiden on the Flat for Ger Lyons but little in the way of promise thus far in this sphere. Tongue tie now tried.
Stepped up plenty from his debut effort at Killarney (100/1) when sixth of 17 at Listowel (250/1) on Tuesday, leaving the impression there's more to come. Third run in quick succession.
€2,700 3-y-o, Poet's Word filly. Half-sister to fair hurdlers Jubilee Gold and The Blaggard. 10/1, proved too keen in Cork bumper 4 weeks ago.
Little form on the Flat/over hurdles.
Capri filly. Half-sister to fairly useful hurdler Diamatiste, stays 3m. Dam cross-country chaser (2¾m-3¼m winner) in France.
Yeats filly. Dam unraced half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser (stayed 21f) Mackenberg.
Forecasts
Whats New (9/4), Straightenyourhand (4/1), Earthwatch (9/2), Open Approach (6/1), Clanokre Lass (8/1), Dahoma (10/1), Shakita (20/1), William F Browne (20/1), The Chancie Grey (20/1), Magna Gee Gee (25/1), Johnny Rambo (25/1), Laligurash (33/1), Stone Rulya (50/1), Mambo Du Large (50/1), Nuestro Caballo (50/1), Mirfaq (50/1), The West A Yeats (50/1)
A weak maiden hurdle and WHATS NEW might be able to get the job done. Open Approach is an interesting newcomer for Gordon Elliott, while Earthwatch has a bigger effort in him in this sphere.
