Holds claims on his second of 12 at Newcastle in May and is best excused latest run when not ideally placed here. Returns to 5f but others slightly more persuasive.

Bounced back from a couple of luckless efforts to win a 5f handicap at Carlisle in a field of 10 17 days ago. 4 lb higher mark to contend with here but should again be in the mix if getting the breaks.
