Consistent all-weather performer who won at Kempton in October (7f). Stuck to his task well when second over 8.5f at Wolverhampton but return to this trip won't inconvenience him and no reason why he won't continue the good work. Cheekpieces left off.

Useful on all-weather at best for Darryll Holland but lost his way and no encouragement both starts for this yard 6 months apart, his much lower turf mark fully justified.

Gained reward for several good efforts when narrow winner at Musselburgh in April. Easy to forgive next run and wasted no time getting back on track when second of 8 at Ayr 12 days ago.

Promise in his qualifying runs and not judged too harshly on handicap debut effort on the all-weather here in April, awkward leaving the stalls and also short of room at a key moment. This will reveal more switched to turf with a tongue strap on.
