Won 3 nurseries and returned with 2 good placed efforts at Kempton on first 2 starts this year. Well held in cheekpieces back on turf next 2 starts and visor now tried on return to all weather.

Still very raw when winning 1½m Kempton maiden narrowly in March but shaped as though further trips will prove more suitable in the long run. Makes handicap debut.

Placed in a couple of novices and not beaten far when fourth of 5 on handicap bow at Kempton 9 weeks ago.

Inexpensive Nathaniel colt (dam closely related to smart sort) who confirmed debut promise when landing the odds in weak Wolverhampton maiden 8 weeks ago, showing a nice attitude to eventually master the runner-up. Remains with potential up in trip heading into handicaps.

Got more competitive than on first 2 starts when fourth of 13 in 1m Kempton maiden last October. Only fifth of 7 when upped markedly in trip on handicap bow at Windsor on return but should find that run aiding his development. Headgear on.
