Best effort over hurdles came when fourth in a big-field Galway handicap last autumn. Hasn't shown much since but he's at least entitled to come on for his reappearance at Cork.

Fairly useful Flat winner (stays 11f) who proved a different proposition on first start in a handicap hurdle when runner-up at Sligo (2¼m), though would likely benefit from a greater test of stamina.

Switched to front-running tactics with blinkers added, he showed much more than previously in 2025/26 when runner-up over C&D last month, but didn't benefit from a more patient ride when down the field at Wexford subsequently. Cheekpieces go back on and could be worth another chance.

Made it 2 wins from only 3 starts for his current yard when successful at Cork last December, going through the race like there could be more to come, but he contests a stronger race on return.

Winning pointer who finally put it all together when a comprehensive winner of a Wexford handicap 3 days ago. Still looks well-in under a penalty, though the quick turnaround is perhaps a concern given the gaps in his profile.

More miss than hit since chasing home a fairly useful sort at Wexford last summer, though his latest effort at Downpatrick came off a quick turnaround, and he may fare better back over 2m following a short break.

Topothelane (13/8), Liberated Light (6/1), Blue Moon Boy (7/1), Las Brisas Boy (8/1), Theanniversary Man (9/1), Party Pack (12/1), Rogue Sea (12/1), Avandra (14/1), Miss Donna (16/1), Liceo (25/1), He Who Dares (25/1), Stormy Jenn (25/1), Liss Eile (28/1), Esticky End (28/1), Surviving Murmansk (40/1), Bangor Lady (50/1), Cool Summer (50/1)

Verdict

A quick turnaround might not be the ideal scenario for TOPOTHELANE, who seemingly hasn't been the easiest to train, but he still looks well treated under a penalty and is probably worth siding with. Party Pack and Liberated Light both look worth another chance and make each-way appeal in a competitive handicap.
