Was much improved when opening his account at Doncaster at the beginning of the month. Defied a 9 Ib rise when following up at Leicester (7f, good) 19 days ago. Has to be taken seriously in hat-trick bid.

Course winner. Made frame twice in 2025, including on latest run when fourth of 7 in handicap at Wolverhampton (6f) in December. First run for yard after leaving Michael Appleby and has the cheekpieces discarded.

C&D winner. Made good start for new connections when nose second at Kempton on return. Has failed by some way to repeat that effort in 2 starts since and is passed over.

Sole win came at Southwell last summer but is generally a reliable type. 13/2 and in first-time blinkers, unlucky not to finisher closer when fifth of 12 in handicap at Wolverhampton (7f) in February. First run for yard after leaving Denis Quinn and is now fitted with first-time cheekpieces.

Winner at Southwell in March and has maintained his form in 3 starts since. Shaped well when fourth at Kempton 8 days ago having been caught further back than ideal. Looks sure to play a major part once more.

Is in great heart at present and produced a career-best effort when winning over C&D 8 days ago. Has a 5-Ib penalty but that's offset by his claimer and he isn't taken lightly in follow-up bid.
