Summer Plate Ladies Day Book Now Maiden Hurdle (GBB Race)

Useful on Flat (stays 1¾m) but ran poorly in listed company final 2 starts in 2025. Sold from K. R. Burke 21,000 gns later in November and fell well short of market expectations on hurdles debut last month. Eased off on the level at Chester since so hard to know where we stand with him at present.

Finished behind a pair of subsequent improvers on bumper debut but couldn't advance his form when fifth of 8 in a similar event in April. No impact on hurdles debut over 17f here 3 weeks ago and while he'll need more time, this trip can only help.

Pretty limited on the Flat and didn't achieve a great deal both hurdles starts for Derek Shaw.

Fairly useful but ungenuine on the Flat (stays 2¼m) and he looked a hard ride starting out in this sphere when third in 9-runner introductory event at Wetherby (2m, soft) in November. Set a very stiff task at Haydock 2 months later, and fit from the Flat, this is much more suitable.

Fair fifth in a Clonmel maiden hurdle on her final start in Ireland but pulled up both starts for this yard at Fontwell.

Closely related to 3 winners, including fair hurdler For Gina (23f winner) and bumper winner/fair hurdler Sam Noir (2m-2½m winner). Dam 2m-3m hurdle winner. Bred to stay well and merely hinted at ability in a Southwell bumper recently.

Just about her most promising effort yet when second of 12 in handicap company at Warwick 3 weeks ago, clear of rest. Has her limitations but very likely to give her running.

Dam, 19f hurdle winner, closely related to useful hurdler/chaser (stayed 2¾m) Plinth. Showed only greenness in an all-weather maiden in September. Hood on.
