Fair Flat winner for David Simcock but low-key start to his hurdles career. Up in trip now.
Flat winner in France who failed to progress over hurdles for Willie Mullins. Much more like it on debut for this yard when second of 16 in novice hurdle at Sligo (2¼m, good to soft) 15 days ago and should be involved again.
Been given an intensive start to career and was much improved after just 3 days off when third of 16 in novice hurdle at Kilbeggan (2¼m, good) 12 days ago. Can improve again.
Maiden pointer and has offered little in maiden hurdles.
Runner-up in a Sligo maiden hurdle for Ian Patrick Donoghue and also second in a bumper at Clonmel on his first 2 starts, but his progress has since stalled over what has looked inadequate trips around 2m. Not ruled out over a more suitable longer distance.
Winless from 14 starts over hurdles but ran creditably enough when sixth of 12 in novice hurdle at Killarney (2½m, good to soft, 28/1) 16 days ago. Probably vulnerable to less-exposed types, though.
Showed more when third of 5 in novice hurdle at Punchestown (20.8f, heavy) in November but pulled up on handicap debut at Cork the following month. Market may prove best guide on first start since leaving Gordon Elliott.
Made the frame twice in maidens before struggling in a handicap at Leopardstown over Christmas. Held when unseating after being hampered late at Bellewstown on return from 4 months off last time. Tongue strap and cheekpieces on 1st time.
Showed more when runner-up in a Tramore maiden in November and improved again when runner-up in a Cork novice (17f) in January. One of the form picks if ready after 144 days off.
Showed much more away from heavy ground when second of 15 in novice hurdle at Down Royal (2½m, good to soft, 25/1) 45 days ago. Place claims again if able to back that up.
Steadily progressive over hurdles this spring and ran up to his best when second of 14 in juvenile hurdle at Cork (17f, good to soft) 17 days ago. Might need to find a bit more against his elders this time.
