Dual hurdles winner but it's hard to enthuse over his most recent efforts, including on the Flat.

Easing in the weights and while he failed to justify support in a refitted tongue strap at Newcastle (17f, good) on most recent outing, he isn't one to write off, especially now returning to Cartmel having been placed off higher marks here previously.

Back on the scoreboard at Sedgefield in September and beaten only by a gambled-on rival at Newcastle (17f) on final outing in November. Likely to be thereabouts if picking up where he left off.

Showed up well to a point after 11 weeks off when second of 8 in handicap hurdle at Hexham (2m, soft) 18 days ago. Tongue strap tried and worth considering with a recent outing under his belt.

Found some form for the refitting of blinkers last season, finishing runner-up in back-to-back C&D handicaps. Probably needed the run after 5 months off at Aintree recently and entitled to strip fitter here.

Fair Flat maiden who ran his best race in this sphere when second of 5 in handicap at Fontwell (2¼m) last month, going like the best horse at the weights but unable to hang on after a last-to-first move that included flattening a flight. Needs to cast aside a lesser effort at Stratford subsequently.

Fair Flat winner who went very close to opening his hurdling account at Market Rasen in January, edged out near finish. However, has failed to repeat that form since.

Ex Paul Nicholls inmate who hasn't shown much for some time. Could only consider if backed even with Sean Bowen in the saddle.

Irresolute performer who continues to fall in the weights without showing any sign of taking advantage, including when pulling up in handicap chase at Sedgefield on most recent outing. Enough to prove back over hurdles.

Maiden who again finished well held back down in trip at Hexham (2m, soft, 25/1) 18 days ago. Easy to look elsewhere.

Long-standing maiden who had no chance at the weights when a well-held third in 6-runner selling hurdle at Hexham (2m, good) 25 days ago.

C&D winner in August 2023 but hasn't added to his tally since and again offered little at Newcastle on most recent outing. Hopes pinned on first-time blinkers sparking improvement.

Poor in bumpers and hasn't offered any encouragement in 3 runs over hurdles. Fitted with first-time cheekpieces for handicap debut.
