Stepped up on return when third of 10 at Hamilton (5f, good to firm) 12 days ago, looking set to justify warm favouritism until flagging late. Fancied to go close again from the same mark.
Scored twice on the all-weather at the beginning of 2025 but lost her form later in the year. Much more like it when third from the front at Hamilton earlier in the month but fell a good way short of that effort back there 12 days ago. Hard to trust.
Quirky and unreliable sort who resumed winning ways back on turf after 3 months off in 7-runner event at Bath (5f, good to firm) a fortnight ago, his inexperienced claimer getting a tune out of him to record his first winner. Far from certain to back that up here, however.
On a long losing run but again ran respectably minus his usual hood when fifth of 10 at Southwell (6f) last month. Headgear back on for this return to turf but likely he'll find at least a couple too good.
Won at Thirsk around this time last year but little to shout about in 4 subsequent outings that season. Handicapper relinquishes his grip ahead of this return but watching brief advised.
On a losing sequence (runner-up on 3 occasions in 2025) and seemed rusty returning from 10 months off when tenth of 12 at Hamilton (5f, good) recently. Generally consistent last season and should be much closer to form here.
Losing run stretches back nigh-on 2 years and was some way below form when seventh of 8 at Wolverhampton (5f) early last month. Cheekpieces worn that day discarded but hard to enthuse over for win purposes given his record.
Hasn't won in 23 runs but has a good record at Southwell and ran better than for a while when second of 10 there (5f) 6 weeks ago, coming from much further back than the winner and where he was positioned possibly costing him victory. In the mix back on turf.
Very little encouragement to glean since joining the yard, last seen well beaten at Catterick in October. Blinkers reapplied for his return but he's an easy swerve from marginally out of the weights.

Thornaby Pearl (9/5), South Shore (15/8), King Of The Jungle (13/2), Until Dawn (8/1), Amerjeet (12/1), Desert Master (20/1), Cape Sovereign (20/1), Nordic Glory (22/1), So Grateful (33/1), Crafty Spirit (40/1)
Preference is for THORNABY PEARL, who just ran out of steam late having fared best of those to race up with the speed at Hamilton 12 days ago. From the same mark, Adrian Nicholls' 8-y-o can get the better of Desert Master, who ran a cracker when runner-up at Southwell 6 weeks ago and would be a huge danger if translating that form to turf. Last-time-out winner Nordic Glory and King of The Jungle can fight out third.
