Little promise in a pair of maiden hurdles in 2025.
€28,000 Tirwanako gelding. Dam fair 2½m hurdle winner. Runner-up completed start in Irish points and shaped well when filling same spot in a big-field maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse (2m) last month. Leading chance switching to a bumper.
Hillstar gelding. Dam lightly raced over hurdles.
Elusive Pimpernel gelding. Dam unraced. Market for clues.
Brother to useful hurdler Sixandahalf and caught the eye with his finishing effort when fourth in 11-runner juvenile hurdle (2m) on debut in March. Must be taken seriously switching to a bumper.
Poet's Word gelding. Half-brother to 4 winners, including useful hurdler/high-class chaser Battleoverdoyen and fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser Treackle Tart. Has good pedigree and well worth a market check.
Doyen mare who has hinted at more ability than her heavy defeats on both starts might imply. Needs to learn to settle.
Showed only modest form at best in bumpers in 2025 despite proving consistent, finishing sixth of 16 at Cork (17f) on final outing.
Seemed to excel herself up in grade when 10½ lengths fourth of 8 to Belladaball in listed bumper at Fairyhouse (2m, soft) 52 days ago. That's the best form on offer in this sphere.

Brother Walfrid (1/1), Fiveandahalf (11/4), Moyneard (11/2), Power Steering (15/2), Isabella Johnson (15/2), Kiltinan (10/1), Long Story (66/1), Breezingwithdstars (100/1), Monard Flyer (150/1), Talas Kera (150/1), Carrigeen Kirkia (200/1)
BROTHER WALFRID is likely to be suited by further in due course, but he showed lots of ability when runner-up in a big-field maiden at Fairyhouse last month and has to be considered the one to beat switched to a bumper. Fiveandahalf also shaped with a fair degree of promise on his hurdling debut at Limerick in March and can give the selection most to do, ahead of Moyneard, who is the clear pick of those with previous experience in this sphere.
