Went backwards from a fair debut success at Ayr, finishing well beaten under a penalty at Kempton in October, though the step up to 1¼m may well prove to be in her favour.

Showed ability amid greenness in a Chelmsford novice on debut last November but finished last of 6 over C&D (40/1) on his return, suggesting handicaps are likely the aim.

Ghaiyyath colt steps up to a more suitable trip (sporting a first-time hood) having finished down the field in a pair of 1m maidens, though he's probably one for handicaps after this run.

30,000 gns yearling, Phoenix of Spain gelding. Closely related to useful winner up to 11.7f Don Diego de Vega and half-brother to 2-y-o 9.5f winner Nuwaies and 1m winner Al Mudhaffar. Stable more than capable of readying one first time up and the market will prove informative.

6,000 gns foal, Without Parole colt. Dam 6f-7f winner. In good hands but doesn't look an obvious type on paper.

In very capable hands but could only match the form of his debut when fifth of 13 on reappearance at Windsor (18/1) and is seemingly being brought along gradually.

€40,000 yearling, Intello colt. Half-brother to 1½m winner Luna Rock and 9.4f winner Neuschwanstein, both in France. Dam unraced half-sister to smart winner up to 9f Aim To Please. Notable newcomer from a top yard and any market confidence is likely to be significant.

Almanzor colt. Brother to useful French 2-y-o 1¼m winner The Sheriff and closely related to useful 1¼m-1½m winner Wootton'sun. Given a considerate introduction when well-held third of 7 at Ripon but he's entitled to do better second time up.

Showed more than first time up when fourth of 8 at Southwell last month but looks one for the longer term.

Time Test colt. Half-brother to 1¼m-11f winner Clever Relation and 1¼m-13f winner Surrey Fire. Dam, 1¼m-2¼m winner, half-sister to smart winner up to 7f Gulliver. Makes some appeal on pedigree but may be one for the longer term.

Showed little in a pair of starts on the all-weather and it's hard to be confident upped in trip on turf debut.
