Dual 2m/2m5f hurdles winner in 2023/24 for Alastair Ralph. Has stood little racing since but has dropped a fair way in the weights and fared better than previously for current yard when third of 12 in 2½m Uttoxeter handicap last week. Possibilities if building on that run.
Had looked to be going the wrong way prior to opening her account in a first-time tongue strap in 9-runner handicap hurdle at Newton Abbot (2¾m, good to soft) 39 days ago, keeping on gamely. The second has franked that form since and a 5 lb higher mark seems unlikely to prevent another good run.
Showed much-improved form switched to a handicap and fitted with first-time cheekpieces when off the mark in 12-runner event at Ffos Las (2½m, soft) 41 days ago, keeping on well. That performance is supported by the timefigure and she's open to more progress now her stamina is drawn out further.
Successful at Ludlow in 2024/25 but was underwhelming last season. Needs to recapture old form back from 6 months off.
Fair bumper winner for David Brace and consistent over hurdles for current yard last season, making the places on 4 of her 5 starts. Seems sure to give another good account back from a break.
Seemed to show her first form when fourth of 12 in a 19f Fontwell maiden in April but was clobbered by the assessor for it and finished down the field back in handicap company on most recent outing.
After 9 months off, ran easily her best race for current yard when second of 11 in handicap hurdle at Ludlow (21f, good, 11/1) 31 days ago. keeping on. Step up in trip well worth exploring on that evidence.
Maiden pointer who has shaped with little promise in 3 starts over hurdles but may show more now upped markedly in trip (bred to stay at least 3m).
Landed a novice handicap hurdle at Ffos Las (3m, good) last spring for Ryan Potter but has made an underwhelming start for new yard. Hood now tried.

Forecasts
Camshaft (10/3), Victoria Milano (4/1), Newmill Getaway (5/1), La Cantate (6/1), Pooley's Promise (6/1), Jetty May (13/2), Faerie Cutlass (11/1), After Midnight (12/1), After The Ball (22/1), Porridge (66/1)
CAMSHAFT's handicap debut win is supported by the timefigure and she's selected to follow up with further progress likely now stepped up in trip. Victoria Milano has been given a real chance by the handicapper and it's worth noting it's still early days with her current yard. Jetty May and La Cantate are others to consider in a race that could prove strong form for the grade.
