Adept GRP Cabinets Mares' Handicap Chase

8-y-o mare who confirmed the promise of her close second at Chepstow when scoring over C&D 38 days ago. Benefited from main rivals departure 2 out but raised only 2 lb on back of that and she looks to have been found a good opening under very capable claimer.

Successful from a 3 lb higher mark over fences for Tom Ellis at Newton Abbot (21f) in September but it's been downhill in 3 starts since, running poorly on yard debut over hurdles in January. Given a break ahead of this return to chasing which could well help.

Maiden hurdler who was placed a couple of times last year for Sheila Lewis. However, offered little after 13 months off in a refitted hood (discarded) when last of 7 in handicap hurdle at Newton Abbot (18.5f) last week. Would need to see market confidence behind her switched to chasing.

Dual Irish point winner who ran her best race under Rules when second in 2m Warwick handicap (3m, soft) in February. However, rather enhanced her hit and miss profile when well held fourth at Ludlow the following month. Tongue strap now added.

Point winner who was runner-up in a bumper/2 maiden hurdles for Harry Derham in summer 2024. However, hasn't fired sent chasing for this yard.

Inconsistent sort who hasn't been shaping like a winner in waiting over hurdles in recent months. Last success came over fences from a 10 lb higher mark but others preferred for win purposes.
