Inkerman London Novices' Hurdle (GBB Race)

Fairly useful staying handicapper on the Flat for Richard Hughes and confirmed the promise of his hurdling/stable debut when winning 7-runner maiden (2/9) at Southwell (2m, good to soft) 44 days ago, well on top finish. Remains open to improvement and looks capable of defying a penalty.

A 3-time winner on the Flat who proved a different proposition to on hurdling debut following a breathing operation when runner-up in 2m maiden at Kempton in February. The third has since franked that form and he has to enter calculations.

Failed to progress in bumpers and has shown only barely fair form in a trio of Flat starts at up to 1½m

Showed fair form when in the frame all 3 outings in Irish bumpers (for David Harry Kelly) and stepped up appreciably on his hurdling debut form when second of 7 in 2m Huntingdon maiden in early February. Well up to winning a similar event on that evidence.

Won sole start in point bumpers in February 2023 and followed up in a first-time hood in a Newton Abbot bumper in July of that year. Looked useful that day but has shaped with little promise in 2 hurdle starts since returning from his long absence.

£12,000 Doyen gelding. Half-brother to fairly useful French hurdler Avenue du Mesnil. Offered something to work on when third of 8 in a maiden hurdle at Market Rasen on debut in May 2024 but hasn't been seen since.
