Aisling Kennedy Memorial Claiming Hurdle

Unreliable individual. Seventh of 14 in handicap at Roscommon (1½m, good) 3 days ago. Switches from Flat to hurdles. Up in trip and down in grade which gives him some chance if on a going day.

Fairly useful chaser at best but failed to complete last 3 starts over larger obstacles and little promise to take from recent return to hurdling. Runs without usual tongue strap.

Versatile sort that has won over fences and hurdles and also on the Flat on both turf and all-weather. Placed twice before flopping when last seen in December and not ruled out if bouncing back on return from 146 days off.

Modest hurdler who was below form seventh of 13 in handicap hurdle at Limerick (19f, heavy) last time. Off 6 months since and has plenty to find on form.

Fairly useful chaser who won at Perth in September. Off 7 months and switched back to hurdles on favourable terms here, but likes to lead and will have competition on that score.

Trailblazer who has won 3 times from last 4 outings. Pulled up in novice hurdle at Wexford (3m, soft) when last seen 34 days ago but now tries blinkers and will no doubt attempt to dominate back down in trip. Good chance at the weights but not sure to have things all his own way.

Fair hurdler who has won at this track but he appeared to down tools when pulled up in handicap hurdle at Punchestown (2m, good to soft) 13 days ago. Back up in trip in a less competitive affair but needs to bounce back.

Poor efforts both starts this year and set to struggle again.

Modest hurdler who was fourth of 14 in Flat handicap at Sligo (1¾m, good to soft) 11 days ago. Cheekpieces on 1st time over jumps but needs plenty of progress on these terms.

Dual handicap chase winner in September and came third of 5 at Perth last month. Not without a chance back over hurdles.

Won at Limerick this time last year for Kieran Purcell but not reached that level in 3 starts for this yard, including when second of 7 in similar event to this at Tramore 24 days ago. Tongue strap back on.
