Winless in 2025/26 but not too far below his best on several occasions. Looked rusty and soon off the bridle faced with an inadequate test at Wincanton last month. Visor back on, significantly up in trip and now below his last winning mark.
In frame 3 times since rejoining this yard in the autumn. Well backed and ridden more positively when 13 lengths third of 7 to Yes And Yes in handicap at Stratford last month.
Hurdles scorer who struck at the sixth attempt over fences at Exeter (3m) in March. At least respectable efforts when third both starts since and good conditional booked. Should be thereabouts.
Maiden who left his chase debut form behind when second to a subsequent winner in 21f handicap at Hereford in March. Yet to confirm his stamina for this sort of test, though, and reported to have suffered from a breathing problem when pulled up at Bangor last time. Tongue tie goes on.
Responded well to the first-time visor when landing a 2½m Huntingdon handicap chase in February. Had one of his better jumping days when 5½ lengths second to Yes And Yes at Stratford last month. Obvious claims if repeating that performance.
Remains a maiden after 34 runs in both codes but he came in a very good second of 6 in handicap chase at Warwick (2½m) last month. Not seen to best effect at Ffos Las last time but minor honours probably the best he can hope for again.
Unreliable veteran who won at Windsor in 2025/26 and returned to form when third of 7 to Boys of Wexford at Taunton last time. Remains on a good mark but is just as likely to disappoint as build on that.
Little show over hurdles and fences, looking increasingly temperamental. 9 lb out of the handicap.

Forecasts
Bahtiyar (7/2), Carpe Diem (4/1), Black Occ (5/1), Sweet Nightingale (5/1), Redbridge Rambler (6/1), Chief Black Robe (6/1), School For Scandal (15/2), Stonegate (50/1)
SWEET NIGHTINGALE arrives in good heart and is taken to come out on top in a trappy handicap. Carpe Diem and Redbridge Rambler are both capable of taken advantage should the selection fail to fire.
