Arrived late to land 1m handicap at Goodwood last summer and ended 2025 in very good form. Shaped as if the run was needed after 5 months off when midfield in 1m Doncaster handicap in March. One to consider.
Back to winning ways at Kempton (1m) in April and followed it up with a good third of 11 at Lingfield (1m) 25 days ago when not ideally placed.
Resumed from 6 months off with a career-best win in 9-runner handicap at Southwell (7f) 14 days ago. Up 4 lb but well on top at the finish there so he must enter calculations.
Course winner in 2024 for Ed Bethell. Has offered little for his new yard though, last of 9 in handicap at Redcar (1m) 19 days ago when very slowly away.
Arrives on the up and he completed a hat-trick in 4-runner handicap at Wolverhampton 30 days ago. Hiked up 9lb here though so needs a clear personal best.
C&D winner. Made an encouraging start for James Owen after 6 months off when third of 11 in handicap at Musselburgh (1m) 27 days ago. A likely player with that run under his belt in refitted cheekpieces.
Winless since 2024 and he went too freely when tenth of 12 in handicap at Newcastle (1m) 43 days ago. Needs to take a big step forward.
Back to winning ways over C&D in October and he reappeared with a good third of 5 in handicap at Wolverhampton 22 days ago. Ought to be thereabouts off the same mark.
A three-time 1m winner in 2025 but he ended the season under something of a cloud. Needs to hit the ground running after six months off.
Fair ex-French 9f winner. In good form for his current yard in 2025, fourth of 7 in handicap at Southwell (1½m) in November. Takes a big drop in trip for his reappearance though.
Kickstarted 2026 with victory in 11-runner handicap at Newcastle (1m) in March. Should remain competitive despite 3 lb rise.

Principality (3/1), Orangesandlemons (4/1), Asteverdi (5/1), Barry's Boy (11/2), Winston's Warrior (13/2), Leadenhall (8/1), Helm Rock (9/1), Aspull (12/1), Degale (14/1), Intrusively (14/1), Tiger (16/1), Youarenotforgiven (22/1), Port Erin (50/1)
A case can be made for a few of these but LEADENHALL made a promising recent return when fifth at Pontefract and can capitalise on a 2 lb lower mark here. James Owen's new recruit Asteverdi could emerge as the main danger on the back of an encouraging Musselburgh third, although Principality, Winston's Warrior and Orangesandlemons can all play a part too.
