Tiff And Ang Go West Stakes Handicap Chase

Off time: 15:16 | Winning time: 5m 31.24s

Jasmin De Cotte^t1⁴¹

Age: 7| Weight: 12-0| J: Harry Skelton| T: D Skelton| OR: 105

11/8

Fairly useful chase winner at his best in Ireland for Paul Nolan. Hasn't matched that level for Dan Skelton but scored at Uttoxeter (2½m) in March and backed it up with a solid third of 10 there (3m) last time. Tongue strap added and remains potentially well handicapped.

Isle Of Sark^b,t²⁸

Age: 8| Weight: 11-12| J: Jamie Hamilton| T: Micky Hammond| OR: 103

11/1

Won over hurdles at Sedgefield in October for Mickey Bowen. Back on song for his new yard when third of 7 in handicap chase there (21f) 28 days ago. Not out of things eased 1 lb.

Form: 243873-

El Muchacho^t³⁸

Age: 9| Weight: 11-7| J: William Maggs⁽³⁾| T: M E Sowersby| OR: 98| D

10/1

Has proved unreliable but he was a dual winner last season and posted a good third of 10 in handicap chase at Newcastle (2½m) last time. In the mix once more.

Form: 51F323-

Forsa Bay^p1,t1³³

Age: 6| Weight: 11-3| J: Miss Ellie Callwood⁽⁷⁾| T: L Morgan| OR: 94

10/1

Maiden hurdler/chaser. Below-par fifth of 8 in handicap chase here (17f) under this rider 33 days ago. Tongue tied and fitted with cheekpieces for the first time now.

Form: P5/3P35-

Let Me Go Boys^t¹⁸⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 11-0| J: R P McLernon| T: J & A O'Neill| OR: 91| BF

8/1

A fair maiden hurdler but failed to match that form in a couple of runs over fences, blinkered first time when sixth of 12 in handicap chase at Hereford (2m) 6 months ago. Longer trip will suit but needs to hit the ground running.

Form: 8/37556-

Cloudy Wednesday^p³²

Age: 10| Weight: 10-13| J: Lewis Stones⁽³⁾| T: C Fryer| OR: 90| BF| CD

9/1

C&D winner last June but his form has regressed after 9 months off, pulled up in handicap chase at Fakenham (3m) 32 days ago. Has a bit to prove now.

Form: 24123P-

Lone Soldier¹⁵

Age: 8| Weight: 10-2| J: S Bowen| T: C & A Pogson| OR: 74

11/4

Remains a maiden after 20 runs but he got back on track when second of 7 in handicap chase at Warwick (2m) 15 days ago, left poorly placed. Needs to back that up from 5 lb out of the weights here but longer trip fine and has Sean Bowen up.

Form: 253U42-

Forecasts

Jasmin De Cotte (11/8), Lone Soldier (11/4), Let Me Go Boys (8/1), Cloudy Wednesday (9/1), El Muchacho (10/1), Forsa Bay (10/1), Isle Of Sark (11/1)

A few of these arrive with a question mark against them so this looks a good opportunity for JASMIN DE COTTE to bag a second win since joining Dan Skelton. Isle of Sark is feared most on the back of a resurgent third at Sedgefield.
