Contender on the pick of his form but he's a temperamental sort and went with no encouragement after 6 months off in a claiming hurdle at Tramore 17 days ago.
Lost his way after back-to-back wins at Leopardstown 2 winters ago but showed signs of a revival there last 2 starts so needs considering back down in class.
Got back on the up over hurdles when winning at the Galway Festival last summer and bettered previous chasing form when winning in good style at Limerick. Remains with potential in this sphere.
Useful hurdler/chaser on his day and needed the run after 28 months off in maiden on the Flat 26 days ago. Potentially thrown in on old form and market can guide.
Successful start over fences at Down Royal a year ago but has disappointed in various events since.
Lost his way after a promising start to last season but shaped as if needing the run after 6 months off at Fairyhouse 33 days ago and has dipped below his winning mark.
Won a couple of novice hurdles at Clonmel last summer and was progressing gradually over fences until a poor run at Leopardstown on Boxing Day. Absence since suggests all might not have been well that day.
Likeable sort who won 3 times over fences last year (including twice here) and was probably feeling the effects of a busy campaign when turning in a rare poor effort at Cork in November. Looked rusty on comeback last month and better expected now.
Bumper/hurdles winner. Best effort over fences so far when second in novice at Tramore on New Year's Day but ran no sort of race on handicap debut in this sphere next time.
Twice a winner over fences last season, including when back to form at Tramore 18 days ago. All out that day, however, and 4 lb higher in better race now.

Forecasts
Come On The Lads (3/1), Cappucino (9/2), Kilbrin Rocco (13/2), An Peann Dearg (13/2), Baltic Bird (9/1), Trasna Na Pairce (9/1), Crowsatedappletart (10/1), Dutch Schultz (11/1), Captain Conby (14/1), War Correspondent (20/1)
AN PEANN DEARG again showed signs of being on the way back at Leopardstown in March so gets the vote off a tempting mark back down in class. Come On The Lads has taken well to fences and is the obvious threat after his stylish win at Limerick, while Crowsatedappletart won twice around here last summer and should come on for his return.
