Resumed winning ways at Wolverhampton (8.6f) in December and largely held form well since, posting a good third having dipped below last winning at Lingfield (1m) 16 days ago. Respected with a repeat.
Scored at Brighton (7f) last summer and shaped pretty well when third over C&D in January. However, not scaled same heights in 2 subsequent starts. Others preferred at present.
Scored twice at Wolverhampton in 2025 and arrives here having posted his best effort since when second at Nottingham (1m) 18 days ago. Nudged back up 2 lb following that effort but good claims nevertheless returned to all-weather.
Dual C&D winner who has been resurgent since the turn of the year, bagging a fourth success since February at Wolverhampton (9.5f) last month. Again ran well when third at that venue 3 weeks ago but new mark does demand that little bit more now.
Saw things out well when doubling his career tally over C&D in March and ran to a similar level when a running on fourth at Southwell (7f) last time. However, another who will likely need to pull out more from present mark.
Hasn't been seeing out her races on the all-weather of late, albeit possibly finding her stamina stretched when ninth of 14 in handicap at Leicester (1¼m) 11 days ago. Quickly reverts to this shorter trip but others more persuasive for win purposes.
Regressive in 4 starts for Patrick Chamings since the turn of the year and fitting of a hood/stable switch need to spark a major revival.
Not the easiest of rides and while she managed to get her head in front at Ffos Las in September, she has yet to fire in 3 starts this year.
Long time without a win and hasn't been shaping like bucking that trend over C&D in recent months.

Forecasts
Sceptic (2/1), Miss Chester (9/2), Port Noir (5/1), Aim For The Bull (11/2), King Of Speed (11/2), Berning Hot (10/1), Marchetti (20/1), Dinah Myte (28/1), Daddy Chill (50/1)
SCEPTIC produced his best effort for a while when second at Nottingham 18 days ago and a repeat may well be enough to see Ian Williams 6-y-o resume winning ways here. Port Noir has been in good form this year and is feared, as is King of Speed.
