Capitalised on a good opportunity to land a Clonmel claimer in October. Solid efforts in defeat next 3 outings (including over fences) but proved to be a disappointment at Downpatrick on most recent outing. Needs to get back on track reverting to hurdling.

Yet to win on these shores but knocking firmly on the door under this rider lately, finding only the rejuvenated Kilmore Rock too strong over C&D on most recent outing. Must be taken seriously.

Has been rejuvenated since the blinkers went on, resume winning ways despite not being able to have his own way up front over C&D on latest start. Remains on a workable mark bidding to win this race for a second year running.

5/2

Steadily progressive 6-y-o who coped fine with the drop in trip when opening his account in 9-runner handicap here (2¼m, good) 16 days ago. Steps back up in grade but the return to further shouldn't inconvenience him.

Over a year since she last tasted success but is lurking on an attractive mark on the pick of her form and interesting with fully-fledged rider back in the saddle.

Forecasts

Kilmore Rock (6/5), Rememberthename (5/2), Jericoacoara (3/1), High Dancer (8/1), Starlyte (11/1), Rexem (16/1)

It's been a while since STARLYTE tasted success but some of her recent efforts have been encouraging and she's well worth another chance with a fully-fledged rider back in the saddle. Kilmore Rock has found his form again since the blinkers went on and must be respected in his bid to land this race for a second year running, while Jericoacoara is knocking firmly on the door and remains unexposed at this sort of trip.
