No Nay Never colt who hails from an excellent family and he showed plenty of ability at long odds when third in a Chelmsford novice (1¼m) on debut in December. Displayed clear signs of inexperience then and he's very much the type to do better as a 3-y-o.

Ghaiyyath colt. Half-brother to German 1¼m winner Poyraz Approach. Looked in need of experience but hinted at ability when eighth in 10-runner Wood Ditton at Newmarket (1m) 16 days ago. This promises to reveal more.

Dream Ahead colt out of a 1¾m winner who stayed 2m. Was at long odds for debut and looked backward when midfield in 25-runner Newbury maiden (1m) on debut 2 weeks ago. That experience ought not to have been wasted on him and expected to do better.

€15,000 yearling, Isfahan gelding. Half-brother to several winners, including useful 1¼m-2m winner Abadan and 7.4f-10.5f winner Agent Excel, both abroad. Dam Belgian/German 1m-11.5f winner. Wears tongue strap for debut and one to note for leading stable.
Timeform
Study Of Man gelding who matched debut form starting out for present yard when second behind a subsequent winner at Brighton (1m) back in the autumn. Pulled well clear of the remainder then and a repeat gives him obvious claims on return.

Study of Man filly. Half-sister to useful 6f-1m winner All Go and 9.4f winner Dea Giulia. Dam, 2m winner, half-sister to smart winner up to 1¼m Almeric. Betting can guide on debut.
Timeform
Shaped well when fourth on sole start as a 2-y-o and found some improvement when second on return from 10 months off at Kempton (1m) 4 weeks ago, headed close home. In good hands and she appeals as the type to progress further.

Fair form when placed on first 2 starts so rather disappointing she took a backward step when fourth in 7-runner Chelmsford maiden (1m) on latest outing in March. Still, far too soon to be writing her off given the stable she represents.

Timeform
Showcasing filly who showed benefit of debut run, despite still looking green when fourth of 9 in novice at Lingfield (7f) 12 days ago. The way she saw her race out then suggests this step up to 1m can unlock further progress.

Forecasts

Ciarrai Abu (5/2), Shebara (10/3), Doodling (4/1), Adalo (6/1), Cold Fish (10/1), Crimson Sunset (10/1), Arc At Her (16/1), Cosmo Brown (20/1), West Byfleet (25/1), Ocean Force (50/1)

Verdict

CIARRAI ABU confirmed a race of this nature is well within grasp when finding only one too strong at Brighton back in the autumn (the pair pulling a long way clear) and he looks to hold sound claims of going one place better here with a repeat. Cold Fish hails from an excellent family and there was plenty of promise to glean from his Chelmsford debut third 5 months ago. Doodling and William Haggas newcomer Adalo are a couple of others to note.
