Enthusiastic front-runner who proved better than ever when easy winner of 5f handicap at Haydock (good to firm) last autumn. Good third in 5f Lingfield listed event (all-weather) on reappearance and possibly unsuited by testing ground when down the field at Musselburgh since.

Age: 6|  Weight: 9-5| J: Hollie Doyle| T: A Watson| OR:  100| CD
Smart gelding who was a 4-time winner in 2025, signing off with a Group 3 success at Dundalk in October, but has failed to fire in 4 outings this year. Needs a change of headgear (cheekpieces for blinkers) to help spark a revival.

Has thrived on all-weather in recent starts, completing a hat-trick last autumn and posting good runner-up efforts on his last 3 outings. Needs to prove he's equally as effective on turf now.

Useful form in the US earlier in his career. Limited impact in 3 outings for Joseph O'Brien in Ireland last year and hard to know how much he achieved when going close twice at Saint Moritz for Olly Murphy in February. Looks on a tough mark starting out for Richard Hannon.

Dual winner on heavy ground for Peter Chapple-Hyam as a juvenile in 2023. Three wins in Europe last year, including a Milan listed, suggest he's still very useful ahead of this return to Britain for a new trainer. Has been gelded.

Did well last year, notably a win in a York Ebor meeting handicap (5.4f, good to firm) in August. Possibly unsuited by softer ground when down the field in the Portland at Doncaster on final start. Much depends on whether he's fully tuned after 7 months off.

Listed winner at York over 5f last May. Lost his way subsequently but his mark has come down as a result and he should be sharper for last month's Musselburgh reappearance (not helped by being hampered at the start).

Consistent sort (third in last year's Portland) but this regular slow starter doesn't have a great strike-rate (2-22). Should come on for his Newmarket reappearance 17 days ago but others are stronger for the win again.

Really found form in a cheekpieces and tongue tie combination for Stuart Williams last autumn, winning 5f Haydock handicap before creditable fourth of 11 at Ascot (5f, soft). There could be more to come in 2026 if he can sharpen up his starts.

Back to winning ways at Catterick (5f, good to soft) last autumn. Cracking reappearance effort when third of 14 at Musselburgh (5f, soft) 27 days ago, in the firing line throughout. All ground comes alike to him. Should go well again.

Age: 6|  Weight: 8-7| J: Saffie Osborne| T: R M H Cowell| OR:  88| D
Three wins in 2025, the latest at Newbury (5f, good to firm) off 1 lb higher in August. Respectable efforts in his 3 outings this year, with the ground softer than he ideally wants it when fifth (reopposing stablemate Lexington Blitz third) of 14 at Musselburgh 27 days ago. Enters calculations.

Forecasts

Lexington Blitz (9/2), Rogue Enforcer (5/1), Trefor (6/1), King Of Light (8/1), Clearpoint (8/1), Rhythm N Hooves (10/1), Tropical Storm (10/1), Spartan Arrow (10/1), Democracy Dilemma (10/1), Rosario (12/1), Fandom (14/1)

Verdict

A useful sprint. Robert Cowell pair LEXINGTON BLITZ and Rhythm N Hooves arrive on the back of decent efforts at Musselburgh over Easter. The former was bang there from the off and gave best only towards the finish in that competitive race and is taken to resume winning ways now. Tropical Storm was behind the Cowell duo in that same Musselburgh contest but left the impression the outing will bring him on. King of Light could also have a say if fully primed for his first start since the autumn.
