Got back on track after a gelding operation when winning at Haydock on final 3-y-o start, the step up in trip suiting him well. Drop back in distance is a slight concern around here but lay-off isn't (made a winning reappearance last season).
Progressive since switching to handicaps, completing the hat-trick with a gritty display from the front in a 4-runner affair at Thirsk last summer. Disappointed final start but resumed progress/winning ways at Kempton on return and should prove hard to pass again.
Won twice last year, including when a wide-margin winner of this race 12 months ago off 6 lb lower. Placed twice at Meydan in recent months and bold bid anticipated back at this venue.
Showed improved form last season, winning twice at Ascot. Has gradually worked his way back to his best this time around, not beaten far at Lingfield and again at Musselburgh on Sunday (fitted with tongue tie both occasions).
Hit a rich vein of form over the winter, completing a hat-trick in staying handicaps on the all-weather. Winning run ended under a penalty last time, however, and looks vulnerable at this level back down in trip.

Forecasts
Topteam (6/4), Night Breeze (5/2), Sing Us A Song (10/3), Asgard's Captain (7/1), Nunc Est Bibendum (16/1)
The progressive TOPTEAM is likely to get the run of things in this small field so shades the vote over last year's impressive winner Asgard's Captain.
