Teofilo filly who knew her job and made a winning start in 11-runner novice at Lingfield (1m) back in December, leading around 1f out then drawing clear. Plenty to like on return/turf debut with better to come.

925,000 gns yearling, Dubawi filly who stepped up on debut effort returning from 6 months off when third of 7 in novice at Yarmouth (1¼m, good) just under a fortnight ago, looking to tire late having travelled into the race as well as anything. Open to further progress.

Forecasts

Sunshine Star (8/11), Ribbon Of Sea (3/1), Bintsaleh (6/1), Felicitas (11/1), Ladykirk (16/1), Alma Latina (33/1), Ruby Wedding (33/1), Sullom Voe (80/1), Corallience (80/1), Palomezcal (150/1)

Verdict

A red-hot fillies novice chock-full with potential. Preference is for RIBBON OF SEA, who was still very rough around the edges when scoring on return at Wolverhampton last month and Charlie Appleby's filly looks sure to progress again. Sunshine Star showed plenty amidst inexperience when runner-up at Kempton on debut 6 months ago and she's feared most now upped in trip. Felicitas and Bintsaleh may both be involved, too.
