Multiple point winner who has found some improvement to win 2 of his last 3 starts, most recently landing a Wincanton handicap chase (2½m, good) in a first-time tongue strap (retained here). 4 lb rise fair enough and likely to give another good account.

Winless following 11 attempts over hurdles but off the mark at fourth attempt in this sphere, gamely seeing off his 4 rivals with first-time cheekpieces enlisted at Stratford (19f, good to soft). 4 lb rise tolerable and will be a threat if again responding positively to the headgear.

Positively ridden to win twice over fences this season, latterly accounting for 5 rivals at Catterick in November. Respectable efforts in defeat since but the first-time cheekpieces will need to help eke out some improvement if he's to emerge on top here.

13/8
Bumper/hurdles winner who bettered what he achieved on first 3 runs over fences when third in a 9-runner C&D handicap last month. Looks ready to strike on that evidence and he remains open to improvement in this sphere.

Decisive debut bumper winner here last spring but failed to shine in 3 starts over hurdles and needs to raise her game now switched to fences.

Long-standing maiden who was a creditable third of 7 over 25f here when last seen in November but he's 9 lb 'wrong' at the weights and again looks vulnerable.

Forecasts

Claim Du Brizais (13/8), Move With The Beat (7/4), Two To Tango (10/3), Moonshine Man (5/1), Sleeping Satellite (9/1), Roger Rarebit (10/1), Caterpillar Girl (28/1), Bahtiyar (50/1)

Verdict

CLAIM DU BRIZAIS took a step firmly in the right direction in this sphere when third over C&D last time and he could be the answer if able to build on that, which seems likely. Moonshine Man is feared most on the back of a solid effort at Kempton but Two To Tango has to be respected following his Stratford breakthrough success and both Move With The Beat and Roger Rarebit also have claims in a competitive handicap.
