C&D winner. First run since leaving Ed Bethell when eighth of 10 in handicap at Musselburgh (7f, soft) on reappearance 19 days ago. Needs to heave come on a lot.
Winner over 6f at Hamilton last May and mostly creditable efforts in defeat later in the season, notably when second of 9 at Newmarket (6f, good) on final start. Also went close over 7f last year. Player if the outside stall isn't too troublesome.
Fairly useful sort who had plenty of solid handicap form for Henry de Bromhead and made it second time lucky for present connections when accounting for 7 rivals at Newmarket (7f, good) last November. Should strip fitter for his recent Newcastle sixth after 5 months off. Respected back on turf.
Improved on all-weather at the end of 2025, landing a pair of 1m Newcastle handicaps and close second at Southwell in December. Off 125 days. Needs to show he's as good on the grass now.
On the scoresheet 3 times last season but didn't offer much short-term encouragement when down the field on his Doncaster reappearance 25 days ago.
In career-best form on all-weather at the start of the year, finishing second at Southwell before going one better at Southwell (1m). Former turf winner and high on the shortlist with the Ismail Mohammed stable in a rich vein of form at present.
Won twice over 7f on turf last August. Also placed twice off 2 lb higher than today's mark in the autumn. Much depends on whether he's fully primed after 170 days off.
C&D novice winner (good to firm) for Ed Bethell in 2024. Well held in both handicap starts in a light campaign last year and sold for £6,000 last autumn ahead of this return for a new yard.
Runner-up 3 times last year, including 7f. Bit below par with cheekpieces added when seventh of 12 at Newcastle last October. Off since. The cheekpieces are left off here and replaced by the hood he wore when a respectable on last year's reappearance.
Inconsistent performer who has gone 21 runs since last win in 2024. Has a career-low mark as a result but a watching brief is still the percentage call back from 6 months off.

Ismail Mohammed has hit a hot spell in recent weeks so FROSTMAGIC is the suggestion with Tom Marquand doing the steering. Milteye rates an obvious danger off the same mark as when successful in an apprentice race at Ripon last week. Lord Roxby and Nyman complete the shortlist.
