Opened account for the season with a strong-travelling success in Greatwood Gold Cup (2½m) at Newbury, form boosted since. Unsuited by way race developed at the same C&D last time and he's a major player (successful at this meeting last year) for his leading yard.

Ended 2024/25 with a career-best effort, landing a premier handicap at Ayr. However, his form has gone the wrong way this season, making first run since leaving Gavin Cromwell when falling 3 out in the Grand Annual at Cheltenham (behind at the time). Visor reached for.

Veteran who has proved better than ever this season, scoring comfortably from a next-time-out winner at Uttoxeter (2m) in January. Left poorly placed when fourth of 7 at Newcastle (2½m) the following month, so he merits consideration back down in trip.
|
Ran well when second in 5-runner handicap at Bangor last spring but struggled for form afterwards, fourth of 5 at Kempton when last seen in October. Down to a handy mark as a result, though, and has gone well fresh in the past.
|
Returned to his best when a wide-margin winner of 4-runner event at Sedgefield in February. Backed up that effort when second in a Go North Series Final at Carlisle a month ago, beaten only by one completing a 4-timer. Could be in the mix.
|
Handicap chase winner at Punchestown for Gavin Cromwell last summer. After a low-key start for current yard has got back on track with placed efforts on his last 2 outings, third of 8 at Kelso at the end of February.

Forecasts
Heltenham (15/8), Sunnyvilla (10/3), Coup De Coeur (5/1), Aeros Luck (11/2), Fringill Dike (10/1), The Other Mozzie (10/1), Jigoro (14/1)
HELTENHAM returned to his best when landing the Greatwood Gold Cup at Newbury in February and, having not been seen to best effect next time, is taken to score at this festival for the second year running. Sunnyvilla also had excuses on his latest outing and could be the main danger, ahead of Coup de Coeur.
