Powell & Construction Poultry Buildings Novices' Hurdle (GBB Race)

Promising hurdler who won twice in 2025, including over C&D prior to shaping better than the result when fourth of 15 on very testing ground in handicap at Newbury in February. Sets a clear standard returned to novice company and should prove up to conceding weight all round.

Fair performer who has landed a C&D bumper/maiden hurdle and was in the process of running well when falling here last month. Looks sure to prove competitive if feeling no ill effects from that mishap but has plenty to find with the likely favourite.

Better known for all-weather exploits (already won 4 times this year) and, while he showed ability over hurdles when fourth of 13 in maiden at Hereford last time, handicaps will likely be more his bag moving forward in this sphere.

Bumper winner who failed to meet market expectations when second of 7 in maiden hurdle at Catterick (2m, good) on New Year's Day. Has hood and tongue strap applied here and looks to have plenty to find in this company.

Fairly useful Flat winner who impressed when making all at Kempton on hurdles bow in November but struggled when highly tried next 2 starts. This drop in grade should help and he could prove hard to peg back if getting into a good rhythm in refitted cheekpieces,

Better effort over hurdles when third of 6 in juvenile contest at Fakenham (2m, good to firm) 16 days ago, but even that form leaves him with plenty to find.
