O'Driscolls Irish Whiskey Claiming Hurdle

Multiple hurdles winner (including over C&D) but on a losing run and her finishing effort left plenty to be desired when eighth at Listowel in September before unseating early (also fell heavily whilst loose) on chase debut the following week. Worth betting check after 6 months off.

Temperamental sort was probably flattered by his proximity when third in a 6-runner Grade 3 novice chase in October and may well have been the same story when third of 4 back in a minor event hurdle at Sligo last time. Others preferred after 178 days off.

Has won twice and finished a close second from 3 starts at this track, including a handicap around this trip in August. No impact in 3 all-weather outings on the Flat this year but has to be respected given course record.

Fairly useful hurdler for Cian Michael Collins but well beaten both starts over fences for this yard (went off too hard at Down Royal last time). First-time cheekpieces on and will need return to hurdling to spark him back to form.

Fair winner over hurdles. Has been held back by his jumping over fences but was a good second at Thurles on penultimate start before reverting to type at Clonmel (2m) last time. Interesting back hurdling in this grade.

Won at Clonmel in June and shaped as if better for the outing after 4 months off when fourth of 8 in claiming hurdle there 53 days ago. Held form well last summer and is respected on these terms.

Won at Limerick in May for Kieran Purcell but not quite at his best in 2 starts for this yard. Visor now goes on.
