A three-time winner in 2024/25, including good prize at Cheltenham. Right back to form when second of 12 in 2½m handicap at Windsor on New Year's Day but failed to justify strong support when down the field in the Martin Pipe last time. Worth another try at 3m.

Winless since making successful return at Aintree last season but matched his useful hurdles form in 2 chase outings at the beginning of this campaign. Out of his depth reverted to hurdling in Grade 2s on his next 2 starts and was running below form when taking a late fall at Doncaster last time.

Most progressive last season, winning first 4 starts of that campaign followed by several fine efforts in defeat, including a third in premier event at Aintree. Good effort when runner-up in the Lanzarote in January and has shaped as if still good form both outings since, so respected back at 3m.

Made a winning return in a 3-runner handicap at Uttoxeter (23.3f) in June before notching second win over that C&D in October, admittedly in a race where all 5 rivals underperformed. Defied a penalty at Hexham a week later, though might need even more returning in this company after 6 months off.

Landed small-field handicaps at Wincanton (after a break) and Stratford last spring. Runner-up in a listed mares race at Kempton in November but not in same form either start since, her third at Ascot last month a rather hollow one. Others are preferred.

Wide-margin winner on hurdles debut at Fontwell before defying penalty at Windsor on New Year's Day. Should have notched a third win of the season at Kempton last month, headed on the run-in after failing to keep straight, but he'll be suited by the step back up to 3m and opening mark looks fair.

Won back-to-back 21f handicaps at Kempton in the autumn and has continued to progress when finishing second all 3 starts since, sticking to his task in likeable fashion when runner-up at that same C&D last month. Up another 2 lb here but should continue to give good account.

Dual winner over hurdles last season and proved himself as capable second time up over fences when runner-up at Musselburgh in February. Hasn't really built on that either start since, looking in need of a thorough stamina test when third at Newbury (23.4f) in March. Others preferred back hurdling.

Gained reward for this season's consistency when the game winner of an 8-runner handicap at Wincanton (2½m) 4 weeks ago. Unproven over this far but 3 lb rise looks manageable if coping with the step up in trip.

Irish point winner who opened his Rules account in 3m novice handicap at Aintree in December. Benefited from an even greater test of stamina when doubling his tally in a 7-runner handicap at Newton Abbot (26.5f, good) 2 weeks ago and he's still relatively unexposed going back up in grade.

Irish import who bagged a 3m Chepstow handicap in October but has struggled all 4 starts since the turn of the year, failing to revive after a breathing operation at Kempton last month. Cheekpieces go back on but likely only of interest if the market speaks positively for him.

TURNDLIGHTSDOWNLOW hasn't yet put a foot wrong in handicaps and can gain a deserved third win of the season on his return to a staying trip, East India Express remains on a eye-catching mark and is worth another chance to build on his Windsor effort having been backed into favouritism for the Martin Pipe last time, whilst there could still be more to come from the Skelton-trained Top Guy.
