Hillview⁹¹

Age: 10| Weight: 12-0| J: Benjamin Macey⁽⁵⁾| T: G Hanmer| OR: 115| CD

16/1

Useful on his day but little promise both starts in 2023/24 campaign and again this season. C&D winner but he no longer looks the force of old.

Form: 298P/4P

Tiger Orchid^p³²

Age: 11| Weight: 11-13| J: Charlie Hammond| T: S Edmunds| OR: 114| D

10/3

Three-time winner over fences at Worcester but he's not the most fluent of jumpers and losing run is mounting up. Has made a positive start for Stuart Edmunds though with second placings at Hereford and back over hurdles at Wetherby recently. Not out of things.

Form: 2F4422

Dwight K Schrute^p³¹

Age: 7| Weight: 11-13| J: G Sheehan| T: Jamie Snowden| OR: 114

3/1

Arrives in very good heart over hurdles since his chasing debut fall, second of 7 in handicap at Hereford (25f) last month. Weighted to go well nudged up 2 lb.

Form: 3F4322

Our Dylan²⁶

Age: 10| Weight: 11-12| J: Rian Corcoran⁽⁵⁾| T: K Woollacott| OR: 113

11/2

Notched a third win of the season with a career best in 10-runner handicap at Wincanton (3m) 26 days ago. Up 4 lb but scored cosily there so must enter calculations.

Form: 013191

Carismatic Soldier^b1⁵⁷

Age: 7| Weight: 11-8| J: K Brogan| T: O Murphy| OR: 109

9/1

Made an encouraging return when third at Wetherby (21f) in November but hasn't improved as expected, beating only one at Ffos Las last time. Tried in different headgear now.

Form: 13-3595

Speed Davis¹⁴¹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-7| J: Theo Gillard| T: D McCain Jnr| OR: 108

9/1

Bounced back to form with victory in 11-runner handicap hurdle at Musselburgh in November. Needs to back it up now off a 6 lb higher mark.

Form: 7P-5561

Kintail^b³¹

Age: 7| Weight: 11-6| J: Toby McCain-Mitchell⁽⁵⁾| T: Mrs M Rowley| OR: 107

9/2

Unreliable sort who was blinkered for the 1st time when a resurgent third of 7 in handicap hurdle at Hereford (25f) 31 days ago. It's 11 runs since his last win in 2023 though.

Form: U5P-5P3

Golden Glance^p,t³⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 11-2| J: Toby Wynne| T: O Greenall & J Guerriero| OR: 103

10/1

Largely respectable efforts in handicaps during 2023/24 campaign but has gone with little promise at Wetherby and Ludlow this season since returning from 21 months off.

Form: 2245/77

Robert d'Ores^p,t¹⁴

Age: 9| Weight: 10-5| J: Jonathon Bewley| T: G Bewley| OR: 92| D

25/1

A dual 23f winner at Hexham this season. Not disgraced after 5 months off when sixth of 10 in handicap hurdle at Carlisle (25f) 14 days ago.

Form: 142146

Forecasts

Dwight K Schrute (3/1), Tiger Orchid (10/3), Kintail (9/2), Our Dylan (11/2), Speed Davis (9/1), Carismatic Soldier (9/1), Golden Glance (10/1), Hillview (16/1), Robert d'Ores (25/1)

DWIGHT K SCHRUTE rates the pick of the weights so is taken to gain a deserved first success of the season at the chief expense of the thriving Our Dylan who bids for a fourth success of the current campaign. Tiger Orchid has started out well for Stuart Edmunds and can also have a say.
