Didn't show much in points nor first 2 starts under Rules but there's been greater promise in his efforts at Ludlow and Taunton (both at around 2m) the last twice. Has undergone a breathing operation since latest appearance in January and likely to be better off now handicapping.

Form in Ireland was pretty modest and she's failed to get competitive in 3 runs at 2½m+ since joining the Nikki Evans yard. Drops back in trip here and improvement needed.

Winner of the second of his 2 starts on the Flat in France and left hurdles debut form well behind when runner-up in a 2m Ludlow novice last April. Has failed to raise his game since switched to handicaps, though, and opposable on debut for new yard.

No impact in maiden/novice hurdles this winter but made more of an impact when third of 8 on handicap bow at Hereford (2m, good to soft) last time. That isn't bad form in the context of this race and, having dropped 3 lb since, she has to enter calculations.

Took a step forward when fourth of 6 in a C&D novice hurdle in November but it wasn't a particularly big step forward and he failed to back that up on subsequent handicap debut (since undergone a breathing operation).

Lightly-raced maiden who is on a fair mark judged on pick of her efforts for previous connections in Ireland and, though yet to shine in 3 starts for present yard, she needs a second look.

Well held in novice on the Flat for Charlie Appleby last spring and no promise in 3 runs over hurdles to date. Significant improvement will be needed if he's to play a leading role now handicapping.

No better than poor form over hurdles for Seamus Mullins and pulled up all 3 starts for new yard this season (in handicap chases the last twice).

Winless following 15 attempts over hurdles but she's finished in the money a few times, including on her last 3 starts, the latest of which was when third of 10 over 19f in a handicap chase here. Highly likely to be on the premises once again.

The vote goes to CELTIC QUEEN, who attracted support ahead of her improved handicap debut third at Hereford and a subsequent 3 lb drop in the weights looks rather generous. Monsun Climate may also take a step forward now pitched into a handicap and is next on the list ahead of Prized Jet, who hasn't shown much for this yard but has slipped to a dangerous mark. Prairie Queen also enters calculations.
