Resumed winning ways at Chepstow in October and not discredited when third of 9 in 26f handicap chase at Newbury 46 days ago. Weighted to go well eased 1 lb.
Winless since scoring over C&D in 2022 but comes here in decent nick, third of 6 in 30f handicap at Exeter 24 days ago. Capable of having a say.
Smart Irish chaser at best for Gordon Elliott but he has been pulled up at Newcastle and Cheltenham both runs for his current yard.
Has proved a different proposition switched to fences this season, landing Grand National Trial here in February having earlier taken the Tommy Whittle over C&D. Pulled up in National Hunt Chase at Cheltenham last time but well worth another chance back here.
Signed off for Gavin Cromwell with success in 9-runner handicap chase at Galway (22f) in October. The market can prove a good guide on his return for new yard.
Made a winning start for Christian Williams over 28f here just after Christmas but not one to rely on and he was pulled up in 30f handicap chase at Exeter 24 days ago. This C&D scorer is not out of things though if back on his A-game here.
Gained a third win of the season in 3-runner handicap chase at Ascot (3m) 17 days ago. Up 5 lb but this likeable veteran can't be dismissed.

Forecasts
Grand Geste (2/1), Iron Bridge (11/4), Hold Your Fort (4/1), Hang In There (15/2), Bhaloo (8/1), Millforce (17/2), Egbert (9/1), Minella Crooner (66/1)
GRAND GESTE found the National Hunt Chase at the Cheltenham Festival too tough an ask but goes really well round here and is fancied to bounce back in style and bag a third win here. Veterans Hang In There and Hold Your Fort arrive in good nick and could prove the main dangers, although both Iron Bridge and Egbert are also capable of having a say if in the mood.
