Twenty three runs since last win in 2021. 14/1, pulled up in Ulster National at Downpatrick (28.5f, soft) 16 days ago. Switches from chase to hurdles. Others are more persuasive.

Yet to fire this term but is well handicapped if staging a revival. Worth a look in the betting with a first-time tongue now joining the cheekpieces he's worn the last twice.

11/1, career best when winning 10-runner handicap hurdle at Downpatrick (2¾m, soft) 16 days ago, suited by increase in trip. Raised 6 lb but he's unexposed as a stayer and may do better again.

One win from 25 starts. Eleven runs since last win in 2023. Thirteenth of 16 in handicap hurdle (50/1) at Cork (3m, good to soft) 9 days ago. Not hard to look elsewhere.

Latest win in chase at Kilbeggan (2½m) in August. Seventh of 10 in handicap hurdle at Tramore (17f, soft, 12/1) 103 days ago. Significantly back up in trip. Others are more obvious.

Respectable fifth of 13 in handicap hurdle (12/1) at Leopardstown (2¼m, soft) 42 days ago. Unexposed for top yard now stepping up in trip with cheekpieces added. Interesting.

Lower mark over hurdles and not seen to best effect back over timber (did too much too soon) when fourth of 10 in handicap at Leopardstown (3m, soft, 11/2) 42 days ago. One of the more likely types.

11/1, pulled up in handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse (24.5f, heavy) when last seen in November. Fairly handicapped but betting perhaps the best guide after 5 months off.

Forecasts

Midnight Our Fred (4/1), Wakey Wakey Man (9/2), Rusty Harkness (9/2), Ishan (7/1), Better Times (8/1), Rhythmic Tune (8/1), Forceonmyown (10/1), Ballyglass Beauty (12/1), Verdant Place (14/1), My Gaffer (16/1), Ontheropes (22/1), Cullig (28/1), Rajsalad (28/1), Getaway Charlie (50/1), Roxboro River (50/1)

Verdict

Gordon Elliott's FORCEONMYOWN remains relatively unexposed and there's a chance the combination of a step up in trip and first-time headgear could spark some improvement. Recent Downpatrick winner Better Times and Henry de Bromhead handicap newcomer Rusty Harkness head the dangers along with Midnight Our Fred.
