Monday 25th May 'Picnic At The Races' Bank Holiday Handicap

Winner of 1¾m Nottingham handicap last autumn. Encouraging reappearance third of 15 over 1¼m at Doncaster last month. Will be at least as effective back over further. Should go well.

Son of Wootton Bassett who displayed fair form in turf/all-weather maidens at up to 1¼m for Owen Burrows in 2024. Not seen again until well held in 1½m Kempton novice 19 days ago but should come on for the outing and retains potential now handicapping in first-time cheekpieces.

C&D winner last autumn. Good second of 12 in handicap at Pontefract (1½m, soft) last Tuesday, worn down only near the finish. Same mark today.

Fair maiden. Visored first time, respectable fifth of 10 in 11f Kempton handicap in February. The cheekpieces return now back on turf. Yet to prove she stays this far.

Two AW wins this year, latterly over 11f at Kempton last month. Equally effective on turf and should remain competitive off 3 lb higher.

Had a productive 2025 and resumed winning ways back on all-weather after 6 months off at Lingfield (1½m) in February. Good third of 10 at Wolverhampton (1½m again) last month, doing too much too soon. Respected back on turf.

Made all over 1¼m at Chepstow last summer. Respectable seventh (Expressionless third) of 15 in handicap at Doncaster (1¼m, good to soft) 16 days ago. Not discounted.
