Jamada⁵²

4/6

Bumper winner who was runner-up for the second time over hurdles in 18-runner 2m maiden at Lingfield in January, sticking to his task. Seemed to get bogged down in the mud at Ffos Las a month later so much better expected here.

Form: 71-2523

Sense Of Reason⁵⁴

Age: 5| Weight: 11-6| J: Tom Cannon| T: C Fellowes| OR: 105

15/8

Fair Flat winner who showed promise when fourth first 2 over hurdles during the winter, his jumping showing he's still learning. Needs to cast aside a heavy defeat on handicap debut in February, though.

Form: 447

Somkiyr²⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 11-6| J: Freddie Mitchell⁽³⁾| T: A Irvine| OR: 74

66/1

Fair form on the Flat in France but it's hard to be confident based on what he's shown over hurdles to date.

Form: 55P66

Crackalackin^p³⁴

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: Luke Scott⁽³⁾| T: Dr R Newland

15/2

Half-brother to fairly useful hurdler Abbreviate (2½m winner), stayed 25f. Fair handicapper on Flat (stays 1½m), below form last time. Cheekpieces on for hurdles debut in what is an ordinary contest.

Forecasts

Jamada (4/6), Sense Of Reason (15/8), Crackalackin (15/2), Somkiyr (66/1)

Conditions will be in JAMADA's favour given his strong-travelling style and this looks an excellent opportunity for him to open his hurdles account. Sense of Reason will probably provide most resistance unless Crackalackin takes to this new discipline immediately.
