Without a win this season but bounced back from a lesser effort in a major 2m handicap at Newbury when fourth of 11 at Stratford last month, despite needing the emphasis more on stamina. Longer trip should suit as he drops in grade.

£140,000 recruit after easily winning Irish point and went 2-2 in novice hurdles to start his Rules career. However, has failed to see his race out both outings since, reported to have bled last time. Needs to get back on track sent handicapping.
Resumed his progress when winning a 2½m Tipperary maiden in October. However, well held on handicap debut at Cheltenham next time and, making first run since leaving Emmet Mullins, he was below form in a Chepstow novice in December. Cheekpieces reached for.
Half-brother to high-class hurdler Vauban. Fair form on the Flat in France and stepped forward from finishing runner-up on first 3 starts over hurdles when making a winning handicap debut at Ludlow in February. Respected.
Went the right way with each of his first 3 starts this season, posting a good third in 12-runner handicap at Wincanton in January. However, not for the first time he finished weakly when down the field at Doncaster last month. Now tried in cheekpieces.
Beat a pair of next-time-out winners in novice hurdle at Sandown in February last year. However, has run poorly in 3 subsequent outings (over fences the last twice). Cheekpieces now the choice of headgear making handicap debut in this sphere.
Irish point winner who made encouraging debut under Rules when fourth of 17 in maiden hurdle at Wincanton in January, form boosted since. Ran to a similar level when second at Bangor 22 days ago and he remains with potential now handicapping.
Rejuvenated since fitted with cheekpieces, completing a hat-trick at this venue when getting the better of Fresh Speculation in February. Had winning run ended but shaped as if still in good form when fifth of 8 here in race won by Jack's Jury last month.
Fair 2m Flat winner in France and has matched that level in 4 starts over hurdles, winning going away in a Chepstow juvenile in January. Unable to justify support on handicap debut when third at Newbury last time, but he's well worth another chance upped in trip.
In first-time cheekpieces, was well backed on stable debut and got off the mark over this C&D last month. Without the tongue strap (now reapplied), ran creditably under a penalty 10 days later when third of 15 at Chepstow. One to consider.

Sent off favourite on handicap debut last time, THEWOODCORNER wasn't able to find any progress when third at Newbury 22 days ago, but he shaped as if in need of a stiffer test so he could yet do better upped in trip. He is preferred ahead of handicap debutant Mossy Fen Coolio, with Manigod also considered.
