Paned At 3A's Novices' Hurdle (GBB Race)

Produced a fairly useful performance when quickening clear to get off the mark at Market Rasen before failing to get home under testing conditions when sixth in EBF Novices' Handicap Hurdle Final at Sandown last time. Carries a penalty but still has strong claims with sights considerably lowered.

Bred to be fairly useful but has shaped like one for the longer term on both starts to date.

€58,000 Walk In The Park gelding placed both starts in Irish points but looked one for the future when down the field on hurdle debut (20/1) at Bangor.

Showed a bit second time up in a Wincanton maiden but will be better off in handicaps.

Stoutly-bred sort showed nothing on hurdle debut at Exeter.

€120,000 Doyen gelding looked ungainly when fair fifth in Kempton bumper for Paul Nicholls in February last year, though may be better off going this way around, and merits a market check now sent hurdling by excellent new yard.

Looked in need of more time when eighth of 16 in novice hurdle at Huntingdon (400/1) in January.

Much improved since a breathing operation, backing up his Newbury effort when third behind a subsequent winner at Exeter last time, and he should go well again.

Expensive purchase following successful hurdle debut in France but couldn't have made a much worse start in Britain, again shaping as though all was not well at Kelso in late-February.

Showed nothing in 4 Flat runs for Neil Mulholland and similar story on hurdle/stable debut at Wincanton.

Fair Flat handicapper showed a bit more second time up over hurdles at Chepstow (50/1) in January but handicaps are presumably the aim.

Fair performer on Flat for Roger Varian and left uninspiring hurdle debut well behind when third in a 7-runner Taunton novice recently. Clearly still a work in progress but likely to be capable of better returned to a galloping track.
