Point scorer who made winning hurdle debut over 19f here last winter. Respectable fifth of 11 in 19f course handicap on reappearance. Pulled up both starts since but possible a return to Taunton and a first-time headgear combination could spark a revival for top yard with recent wins in this race.

Notched a fourth career success when scoring at Uttoxeter (23f) in July but below par on both subsequent starts. Peak fitness has to be taken on trust after 7 months off.

Pair of 21.5f Newton Abbot wins last spring. Off 5 months. looked rusty when 21 lengths last of 4 at Plumpton 24 days ago but should be sharper now.

Made all over C&D (good to soft) in February and repeated the feat at Plumpton (25f, soft) last month. A further 5 lb rise doesn't look enough to prevent him completing a hat-trick in his current mood.
