Aldiss Handicap Chase

Jumped well when off the mark with an all-the-way success here in February. Followed up back in a C&D handicap last month and while it's hard to know quite what he achieved that day (main market rival looked amiss), he's clearly dangerous if again allowed a soft lead.

Off the mark in this sphere over C&D in October and has held his form, coming home third of 10 in a first-time tongue strap at Taunton when last seen at the end of December. Could make his presence felt.

Three of his 5 wins over fences have been gained here, including this race in 2024 and 2025. Also successful at Market Rasen last summer and while he failed to build on his encouraging reappearance effort last time, he is largely consistent and can bounce back with a bold show.

Not the most reliable and record in this sphere stands at 0-11. Recent efforts between the flags don't augur particularly well, either.
